Reading the Bible is an essential part of growing as a Christian. How will we ever become more like Christ, if we do not know more of who He is and how He works? This Great Book never gets old!
We don’t read because we are trying to earn God’s favor by doing so. Rather, because we love God and we want to know more about Him and His desires, we dive into the Word which He has spoken to us.
As we read through His Word, He speaks to us in ways that others cannot, if we are willing to seek and listen throughout all of Scripture. That is why we as a church desire to read through the whole text, not just the nice and easy parts.
We believe that “All Scripture is useful for teaching and training in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3:16); therefore, this year, we dive together into the whole text.
There are a few options on how to get the Bible Reading plan below. In order to help us in our discipline of Bible Intake, there are plans which help us to systematically go through the whole Bible in a year. If the plan seems difficult, complete all reading except the last listed, you will still get through the whole Bible in a year.
